In this panel discussion, medical educators from two different institutions will share their experiences in implementing Teaching Observation Programs grounded in self-determination theory. Despite variations in institutional context and faculty composition, both schools report successful outcomes of improved teaching, collegiality, and motivation. Program design, implementation, and strategies will be discussed.
