Teaching Observation Programs for Medical Educators: Successes and Barriers to Implementation at Two Medical Schools

In this panel discussion, medical educators from two different institutions will share their experiences in implementing Teaching Observation Programs grounded in self-determination theory. Despite variations in institutional context and faculty composition, both schools report successful outcomes of improved teaching, collegiality, and motivation. Program design, implementation, and strategies will be discussed.
